Past directors have included Dr. Elroy Friesen, Kristel Peters and Nathan Poole. The current artistic team consists of director, Vic Pankratz, assistant director Geung Lee and accompanist Ben Sellick. Prairie voices performs in their own concert series, tours, is a regular guest of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and has recorded 6 CDs (including one as guest choir with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra). While placing an emphasis on performing the music of Canadian and Manitoban composers, Prairie voices also loves to perform innovative contemporary choral music from all over the world. This tradition caused another one: in the end of each choir's anniversary concert, all the former choristers being present among the audience come to the stage and sing these famous choruses together with the main part of the choir. The work, called Poohratorio of course, is due to be published once AA Milne goes into public domain (2031).  less

Warwickshire Young voices provide high quality musical activities for children from age 2 to age 16 through a range of classes, choirs and workshops.
