Winner of the Chorus America/ASCAP Alice Parker Award, Crescendo invites Choral singers to audition for its 22nd season.This season, our repertoire spans 16th-century motets, works by Johann Sebastian Bach, and contemporary music in the Piazzolla style, featuring the U.S. premiere of Martín Palmeri’s A Jewish Cantata (2022). SPS are based at the heart of a vibrant City of Leeds where it is one component of the larger Choral Foundation of Leeds Minster. Rehearsals take place on Sunday evenings and singers are most welcome to come along. the Singer's perform concerts at the Minster as well as the wider Leeds area and further afield in Yorkshire, UK and internationally.
