This group is made up of 10 singers and performers all under the age of 25, giving Vandeca a youthful and fresh take on every genre, from classical to pop, Musical theatre to jazz, and everything in between! Each singer in Vandeca comes from a different Musical background, shaping who we are as a group. Having only been in existence since November of 2011, this group has big plans to shape the face of choral Music in Vancouver, encouraging our audience to feel connected with our performances through multi-genre pieces, and using movement and amazing sound to inspire others to become involved with their local choral groups.  less

PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop Music hits. During the performance we heard choral arrangements of...  moreThe concert "ACH! PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop Music hits. During the performance we heard choral arrangements of hits such as: "Dancing Queen", "Memory", "California Dreamin'" and "Maria". This time it was not Mozart or Bach, but ABBA, Queen and songs from the Musical West Side Story that graced the walls of the Gdansk University of Technology in carnivalesque Musical artistic creations. Jazz Musicians performed along with the Choir, and the Musical effects were accompanied by a unique lighting arrangement, which required appropriate space and audience arrangement. The more-than-hour-long performance by the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted by Prof. Mariusz Mróz and accompanied by Musicians from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, ended with joint singing, encores and a standing ovation.  less

Flame Trees are known as 鳳凰木 (Phoenix Trees) in Chinese. Phoenix Singers, Hong Kong is a newly established chorus, Musically directed by Celia Leung. The chorus meets once a week and share the joy of singing. The Chorus presented concerts at various venues around HK since its inception. We also make it our mission to support local charities at each term.
