We bring the exuberant and uplifting sound of gospel Music to these two central London churches each month. We wanted a song that spoke to hope and community so we decided on 'The Prayer' as a way of bringing hope and comfort to those that hear the song.

The unique sonority of a female group of singers, usually a capella, has been widely explored throughout the history of Music by many composers from all times, both male and female. Examples of such Music can be found from the Middle Ages up to contemporary Music; however it is not until Romanticism that works are composed specifically for female Choirs. Thus, a particular genre is born that will keep its own entity up to the present times. This genre has been especially cultivated as of late by female artists and composers. Despite of the apparent differences, they are strong in Musical passion and bonds, which is the essential spirit of Sabahan camaraderie. In 2015, they received further recognition as achievers of Level 5 Singing Ensemble with Distinction under the same international examination board. Recently, in June 2016, they completed their advanced Level 6 Singing Ensemble examination with an exceptional praise from the Senior Adjudicator of the Australian GUILD of Music Education. The OV Singers received their Grade 7 in Concert Certificate under the St. Cecilia School of Music International Examinations in December 2017.
