The Joy Voices Choir has not stopped: we have chosen a song from our repertoire and each of us, from our own home, has recorded it. The result is, for us, a new performance, different from the usual, which we share to send you our best wishes so that you can spend this difficult period serenely, despite everything. Our thoughts and prayers are dedicated in particular to those who fight the virus in the front line, to those who work to guarantee us the essential services, to those who are alone, to those who are sick, to those who are in despair, to those who did not make it and to those who have lost a loved one. Let us send a message of hope for the future, raising our voices to the Lord, confident that He will listen to us and that we will soon return to embrace Him again. We are a non-auditioned community Choir, vibrant, fun and friendly, launched in Nov 2016. We welcome anyone aged 11+, no experience necessary. 3 concerts a year plus other performance opportunities. Inclusive and relaxed, free first session.

In the first few years of the Choir's existence, they con...  moreWe are the pioneer choral group in the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Pillar - Imus Cathedral in Cavite. Himig Batingaw was founded in March of 1979 by members of the Legion of Mary. In the first few years of the Choir's existence, they conducted rehearsals at the church belfry; hence the name Himig (melody) and Batingaw (peal of bells) was born. The Choir is very influential in the rise and development of choral music in the parish. It has introduced new pieces for liturgical use most of which are composed or arranged for the group and has graduated noted local musicians from its ranks. In the past years, the chorale group has joined different chorale festivals and won in various competitions; namely, Himig ng Kabataan Alay Kay Don Bosco, Forte Chorale Competition in De La Salle – Dasmariñas Cavite, Vivere Hotel and Resorts Annual Chorale Competition, First Grand Chorale Competition in Imus City Mall, Wikawit: Tagisan ng Korong Kabitenyo.
