Au fil des années, la chorale a gagné en maturité artistique et les choristes qui rejoignaient les différents pupitres portaient désormais à leur actif ...  moreLa Chorale CasaSawt, de son premier nom « Chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca » est née en septembre 2006. Au fil des années, la chorale a gagné en maturité artistique et les choristes qui rejoignaient les différents pupitres portaient désormais à leur actif des aptitudes Vocales, musicales et humaines. Le répertoire chanté a également évolué vers des chants plus sophistiqués avec des polyphonies et des arrangements plus complexes mais qui gardent élégance et légèreté. Accompagnant cette évolution humaine et artistique marquant sa migration d’un chœur de jeunes à un chœur d’adultes, le Chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca a dû changer de dénomination et a adopté un nom autant fidèle à son identité qu’à sa nouvelle structure. Dès lors, le chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca devient « Chorale CASASAWT ». As there were some issues with the video footage on every performance anyway, decided to turn that into an opportunity to show off what the piece looked like in the variety of venues on the tour. Uses the Darbuka purchased at Watermelon music in Davis!! :)  

We are made up of 3 different choirs - Mixed Chorus, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir. All of our members are students at Port Huron Northern High School and range from 13-18 years of age. We all share a love of music and create joy through singing together.
