Salvacosta was formed in June 2000 and functioned for 16 years raising over £55,000 for various charities. In 2017 a new smaller ensemble evolved from Salvacosta in the form of Muzaria www.muzaria.com focusing on Stage & Screen music.

Spurred by the release of the revised English missal, Alejandro and Eugene both thought it a good time to finally restart the project that they had shelved for some time. Only now, the idea wasn’t just to end with a single album; the idea was now to establish a ministry that would introduce a new generation of music to Philippine Catholics.
