Our new Musical Director, Julian Collings joined the choir beginning of 2019. Over the last few Years the choir has enjoyed a growing reputation for its repertoire of outstanding contemporary music alongside the established classics. TCS latest performances included The Creation of Haydn, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Mass in Blue of Todd, Rossini's Petite Messe solennelle. The Choir also perform a Christmas Concert every year. Overall we perform three main concerts a year. During its performances TCS enjoys the participation of professional soloists and orchestras and ensembles. Phil Culling is our accompanist. With past successes and imaginative programming, TCS is thriving. We are always glad to welcome new singers, regardless of age; especiallly those who enjoy their music making. We like to rehearse and perform with our sense of humour switched on.  less

London contemporary a cappella choir Kitsch in Sync turned 10 Years old on 11th January 2011. In October 2011 we celebrated this with a special medley of songs from the last decade. This was its first public performance.

We perform at least three concerts per year with professional orchestras or accompaniment in the major Dublin venues and over the Years have undertaken trips to choral festivals abroad. Two regular events are the ever-popular Christmas Concert in the NCH and the Carmichael Centre’s annual fund-raising concert in St, Patrick’s Cathedral, formerly on Good Friday but latterly in May.

I love the tempo, phrasing, rubato and expressiveness. The paraphrase of Psalm 121 is mine. I wrote this as my way of dealing with the loss of two choir members who both suddenly died the first year I was in Montana. It was my way of turning to the psalms for prayer. The recent pictures were taken in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.

Over the Years, the choir’s repertoire has included performances of: Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, The Requiems of Brahms and Mozart, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, and others. Auditions held every August and January.
