It was established in Rome (Italy) with the aim of promoting and encouraging musical activities and the practice of Choral singing. the choir has taken part or organized more than 800 concerts, shows and musical events in churches and places of culture in Rome, Italy and abroad. It took part in Choral competitions, celebrations, weddings and commemorations. the choir sings mostly a cappella and its repertoire ranges from sacred and spiritual music to popular music and from 16th century polyphony to Choral works by contemporary authors, focusing especially on Italian composers.  less

In the first section, the Choral texture is homo-rhythmic and in the second section, the voices are set into a simple counterpoint. “I Never Saw” cLoses on the dominant chord creating a feeling of suspension that enhances the concept of faith expressed by Dickinson.

Within the first year of its operation, InDONNAtion accoplished first Panhellenic executions and suggested a different and original approach to Choral music, as its repertoire includes beyond the classics and unique compositions that combine movement with sound. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the choir's name is a pun of the musical term Intonation (tonality of the sound) and the latin word Donna (woman).  less
