Коллектив неоднократно принимал участие в конкурсах и фестивалях православной и духовной музыки, где всегда получал призовые места и награды. The choir covers a wide range of repertoire and styles, especially focusing on those that push choral music into new, exciting arenas. The U Chamber Choir performs numerous works by conductor Barlow Bradford, an active composer and arranger, as well as private commissions by other renowned composers. The Chamber Choir often collaborates with other ensembles, both from the School of Music and off campus, including Dr. Bradford’s professional choir, the Utah Chamber Artists. Students in the U Chamber Choir participate in the highest quality choral experience, advancing their vocal technique, knowledge of choral repertoire and musicianship. The World Youth Choir session 2012 was held in Cyprus from August 7th to September 1st, 2012 thanks to the cooperation between the Foundation World Youth Choir and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation - Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, supported by the Ministry of culture and education - Cyprus presidency of the European Union (cultural events in 2012). The choir developed fast and increased its artistic level. Already in November 2007 it took part in National choral Competition "Cantio Lodziensis" in Lodz and won the second prize and Minister of Education Special Award. Since then, the choir has taken part in many competitions and choir festivals in Poland, always winning awards. It is the best of its kind in Lodz and one of the best in Poland. Specialized in contemporary music the choir presented many first performances of Polish composers works. it took part in many concerts together with choir coming from USA, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Ukraine and Croatia.  less
