Inwood's composition was the winner in an international competition sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization. the hymn has now been released in Italian, French, and English, with a Latin antiphon and refrains. . This video recording by the Golden Voices Choir STACC FUTO was transposed on key G Major. This beautiful male Choir arrangement captures in it's very essence the richess of God's divine mercy. Each character has his own theme (leitmotif). This 1989 recording was created by the composer using his voice, classical guitar and various electronic instruments.
