We think everyone can sing and complete beginners, shower singers and pros are all welcome. With no auditions and no requirements to read music it’s all about the enjoyment of singing. We sing for 3 terms a year and each term ends with a fantastic end of term charity gig, it’s great to be able to give back to the local community whilst enjoying ourselves so much! We sing everything from Queen and Aretha Franklin to Hozier and Florence and the Machine, and have members ranging in age from 20-70, there is really something for everyone! This is our choir's 10th year and we're always looking for new members, so if you fancy a sing please get in touch. We offer 1 free taster to each new member so you can try the choir out before deciding to join. we sing in A cappella, we range from ages 25 to 30.. we are classically trained vocally and in composition. we perform in all kind of events such as weddings, cooperate functions, etc.

FHCS was formed in 1951 and has grown into an ambitious 100-strong choir. Membership is open to anyone with or without choral experience. We aim for High standards, and of course strong singers are always valued – but you don’t have to be able to read m...  moreFHCS was formed in 1951 and has grown into an ambitious 100-strong choir. Membership is open to anyone with or without choral experience. We aim for High standards, and of course strong singers are always valued – but you don’t have to be able to read music, and there are no auditions. The age range of members stem from 20 to over 70 so there is room for everyone. If you’re not sure which voice part you are then Christopher Wray, our Musical Director, can help you with this. The Choir performs three public concerts each year, at Easter, in the Summer and at Christmas. We also support the local communities by singing at various events and this includes raising funds for charities. Each year we also sing away from London which combines singing to another community, or combining a performance with their Choir, with a fun day out.
