Now, one year later, we are still full of hope for the darkness to turn into light as what's the lyric of the song is about.

Author of the project and conductor: Karmina Šilec
Adiemus occupied the imagination of the music-lovers all over the world. Therefore this musical work was one of the most saleable albums and reached the scale tops of classical as well as ethnical music.
Karl Jenkins' popular vocal-instrumental work Adiemus belongs to a sort of symphonic music with a touch of ethnic music. To define Adiemus is the best way to denote it as a "new age" or "progressive" music.
Adiemus is formed of a many different kinds of melodies, distinctive harmonies and minimalistic repetitions of musical themes, that Jenkins shaped into an expanded choral work.

Hughes with accompaniment by pianist Lyudmila Lakisova. Dr. Hughes chose this piece of music because of its emotionally powerful setting of a comforting and hopeful text. “This work encourages us through these difficult days and reminds us why we love choral music,” he said. We hope the performance brings you comfort and peace.

set to music for six part mixed voices SAT-SAT)
The title of this work (Canticula Ursae Minoris/Songs of the Little Bear) comes from the origin of the melodies:
Many years ago I wrote an "Oratorio" based on Winnie the Pooh (The Expotition to the North Pole)
and gave each character little melodic leitmotifs,
such as "Sing ho for the life of a bear" (which becomes "to be a light to lighten the Gentiles" in the Nunc Dimittis),
"They all went off to discover the pole" (which is the initial theme of the Magnificat)
and "What I say, said Eeyore, is that it's unsettling" (which becomes the "Glory be to the Father" section at the end of each canticle)
The original and much simpler "oratorio" work, called Poohratorio of course, may be published once AA Milne goes into public domain (2031).

!!! ENGLISH SUBTITLES !!! on YouTube !!!
In 2020, around 60 girls and young women from the Berlin Girls Choir studied the diary of Anne Frank and the musical work based on it, »Anne Frank: A Living Voice« by composer Linda Tutas Haugen. Supplemented by »Wiegala« by Ilse Weber and »We Are The Voices« by Jim Papoulis as well as the singers' personal thoughts, a cinematic and musical plea for tolerance and self-determination was created.
The rehearsals took place under corona conditions almost exclusively online.
