Within this organisation, there are two sister groups: Nova, the core group of singers performing to accompaniment and The Grace Notes who sing a cappella. Rehearsals are held weekly and fundraising concerts for local charities are run each year in May and December.  

This 12-member performs vocal jazz, madrigals, and pop a cappella, etc., and is available for smaller venues around campus and the immediate Fayetteville area. We sing challenging and rewarding music in a friendly committed environment with a wide range of ages and nationalities. We have a particular affinity for contemporary classical music, having won prizes for interpretation at home and abroad, and regularly present Irish premieres at our Dublin concerts.

Since then...  moreThe Ateneo chamber Singers (ACS) was formed in 2001 by graduating members of the Ateneo College Glee Club who had then just completed a very successful tour of Europe, bagging top prizes in Italy, Ireland, Slovenia, France, Germany and Hungary. Since then, the ACS has established itself as a formidable presence in the Philippine musical landscape. Their unique specialization in sacred choral music has opened a richly eclectic mix of European, American and Asian choral literature that spans medieval to postmodern periods, traditional to contemporary styles, complex art music to highly-textured indigenous music, and moving sprituals to psalmody hewn out of traditional Asian musics. Each Choir member has a different and wide-ranging background in solo, operatic and competitive performance, which enhances the choir’s ability to undertake some of the more challenging choral works and contributes to their fresh and unique sound. The Academy chamber Choir’s repertoire spans from early to contemporary music. Their most recent success was ranking third in “Irelands Choir of the Year” at Cork International Choral Festival 2013. They then went on to win 1st place in the Early Music, 1st place in the Irish Language and 2nd place in the Sacred Music at Navan Choral Festival 2013. They were 2nd place in RTE Lyric FM’s choirs for Christmas Competition – Irelands largest choral competition featuring over 400 choirs. In October 2012, the choir was awarded the prestigious title of Choir of the Year 2012, a...  moreLes Sirènes is a Glasgow-based female chamber choir consisting of 26 vocalists, all students and graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly RSAMD). In October 2012, the choir was awarded the prestigious title of Choir of the Year 2012, after an extensive UK-wide search and a competitive Grand Final held at London's Royal Festival Hall. The ensemble was established in 2007 by present musical director Andrew Nunn and performs regularly across Scotland and beyond, having given concerts in renowned venues such as Glasgow Cathedral, the SECC, Dunkeld Cathedral, Paisley Abbey, the Mackintosh Church, the Queen's Hall, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and London’s Cadogan Hall. The choir has also performed in more obscure locations, having “sung on the subway” as part of the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) promotion of the Glasgow underground. SoundRoutes Singers have ...  moreWe were founded by musician Shona Brown in 2009 with 3 choirs and now are 4 community choirs across Bearsden and Lanarkshire with around 180 members. We rehearse weekly and sing a variety of pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across the local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less
