One of our members Pammy says: ‘It’s funny - most of us think we can’t sing but somehow together, we sound amazing!’ She’s right! How I wrote the composition Hope to process a miscarriage, or how I wrote I Will Lift My Eyes at a time when multiple family members, both young and old, were being diagnosed with cancer. No matter life’s challenges, Music has always been an outlet for me to cope and heal. It has helped me to persevere and fight through some of life's most difficult moments, ultimately making me a stronger person. The world can be a challenging place, but each of us are warriors—armed with the gift to sing, and filled with the fire, passion, drive, and grit to conquer anything. Based in the Weald of Kent, we are a friendly, enthusiastic and accomplished Choir of around 25 mixed voices, who enjoy coming together to make Music and to perform concerts at charity fund raising events throughout Kent, Sussex and also further afield. ...  moreBased in the Weald of Kent, we are a friendly, enthusiastic and accomplished Choir of around 25 mixed voices, who enjoy coming together to make Music and to perform concerts at charity fund raising events throughout Kent, Sussex and also further afield. As a Choir, the Consort has a wide repertoire, ranging from Early Church Music through to Folksongs and modern works. Each programme is different and reflects the wishes of those for whom we perform. Since the Consort’s formation it has raised, through its choral concerts, many thousands of pounds for a wide range of charities and churches. It is always glad to consider invitations from such organisations. Its services are given voluntarily, although a contribution towards its Music library and other expenses is gratefully received. We would love to come and sing to you and help you raise much needed funds for your cause. In addition to singing at Fund Raising events, the Choir is available to sing at private functions, weddings, funerals and so on  less
