It is one of the only four Filipino Choirs to have qualified to join the 14th European Grand Prix for Choral Singing ‑ the world'S most coveted choral prize. UPSA was also the official entry of the Philippines to the UNESCO International Music Prize in 2005. The work is made up of short repeated phrases that evolve and entwine, creating a hypnotic and exciting overall work. Its goal is to provide a quality opportunity for choral Singers to learn or improve their craft. The chorus sings a wide variety of music, including classical, spiritual, folk, Broadway and old standards. The group presents two concerts each year – at Christmas, and in the Spring. It has performed with the Temecula Vintage Singers, and for the Temecula Arts in the Country festival, as well as many local appearances for deserving organizations. The chorus rehearses and performs in the Temecula area. The chorus is one of the Resident Companies performing at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
