Concerts by the group feature a cappella music of Scandinavia and the Baltics, as well as North-American composers. Music by composers such as Mäntyjärvi, Daniel-Lesur, Rautavaara, Martin and Pärt are ideal showcases for the Choir’s lush and full sound.
Members of the group are dedicated to excellence in rehearsing and performing. With a repertoire consisting of 8 to 16-part music, the twenty singers are mostly performing as soloists.
Now in its fifth season, voces boreales has already performed in a number of prestigious concert series, such as the National Arts Centre eXpres- sion series, Musique Chez Nous at Bishop's University, Mondial Choral Laval and the Montreal International Bach-Academy.
The ensemble voces boreales is produced by the Montreal Choral Institute and appears in its various educational events, such as the Montreal Choral Masterclass. less

Oll an Gwella are a bunch of beauties! All members of Newquay Male Voice Choir, they are a rehearsed, a cappella, male chorus with a repertoire consisting of over 100 songs including Shanties, Cornish folk, 1960s classics, seasonal & sacred music.
T... moreOll an Gwella are a bunch of beauties! All members of Newquay Male Voice Choir, they are a rehearsed, a cappella, male chorus with a repertoire consisting of over 100 songs including Shanties, Cornish folk, 1960s classics, seasonal & sacred music.
Their 4-part harmony and infectious humour has brought them popularity as their repertoire and reputation have grown. Entertaining for pleasure, they raise thousands of pounds for voluntary, charity & community groups. £1200 profit from donations and their first CD was donated to “The Cove” Cancer Centre and further donations have been made to RNLI and Cornwall Blood Bikes (who have received more than £3400 as their current charity). Live broadcasts on local radio and a recording by ‘Spotlight’ for BBC Television followed. molto cantabile was founded in 2003. The enthusiastic group of singers from Lucerne and its
surroundings is lead by young conductor Andreas Felber.
molto cantabile was soon recognised by the Swiss audience thanks to their success at various
competition... moremolto cantabile was founded in 2003. The enthusiastic group of singers from Lucerne and its
surroundings is lead by young conductor Andreas Felber.
molto cantabile was soon recognised by the Swiss audience thanks to their success at various
competitions. In 2005 the ensemble won the audience award as well as the special award of the
jury of the Swiss Choir Competition in Glarus, while in 2007 it was awarded the 1st place at the
Valiant Forum for Young Orchestras and Choirs at the Murten Classic Summer Festival.
In addition, molto cantabile has taken part in several renowned international Choir competitions
where it has proved to belong to the leaders of the international Choir scene. In May 2004 the
ensemble took part in the European Music Festival in Neerpelt, Belgium, where it was awarded
1st prize summa cum laude with 99/100 points. In October 2005 molto cantabile appeared at the
Choir Festival in Tolosa, Spain, where it the came second in the category polyphony and fourth in
