One of our members Pammy says: ‘It’s funny - most of us think we can’t sing but somehow together, we sound amazing!’ She’s right! In his review of the “American Voices” program, Scott Cantrell of The Dallas Morning News wrote “The variety certainly displayed the ensemble’s impressive versatility. Habermann consistently got vivid performances, introspective music elegantly colored and shaped, extrovert fare delivered with great pizzazz. Individual singers got lots of solo exposure.” Now in his eleventh season, Artistic Director Joshua Habermann leads the Chorale in repertoire spanning seven centuries, from early polyphony to contemporary works. The composition of the Chorale is truly national in scope and the ensemble is recognized as one of the finest American Chamber Choirs. Founded in 1951 by the late Richard S. Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural Community for more than seven decades. In addition to presenting its own concerts, the Choir is a regular guest of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and collaborates frequently with other Edmonton ensembles, including the Alberta Baroque Ensemble. It has also collaborated with other Canadian Choirs in the past, including the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir.  less

The mission of the Madison Youth Choirs is to create a Community of young musicians dedicated to musical excellence through which we inspire enjoyment, enhance education, and nurture personal, musical, and social development by the study and performance ...  moreThe mission of the Madison Youth Choirs is to create a Community of young musicians dedicated to musical excellence through which we inspire enjoyment, enhance education, and nurture personal, musical, and social development by the study and performance of high-quality and diverse choral literature. MYC brings together a membership of almost 400 families and offers youth between the ages of seven and 18 the opportunity to participate in eleven separate choral groups. Focused on drawing connections between music and the greater world, the program offers choristers musical and social education opportunities through weekly rehearsals, annual concerts, and music retreats. The curriculum, focused on thematic musical study, is presented in an environment of sharing, growth, and recreation, allowing MYC to teach discipline, build self-confidence, foster teamwork, and provide constructive activity and positive role models during formative years.  less

We're a group of young professionals who specialise in early music, but Polyphony especially. The singers are made up of Cathedral choral scholars and Oxbridge choral scholars. They're directed by Matthew Collins.
