Song is also known as "Sorrows away". This version is based on an arrangement by the Poozies. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one Night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. there are no auditions and all Songs are taught and learnt by ear. Bring us in good ale is a mediaeval drinking Song. the premise of the Song is that the singers (or players) want no food and so they find all sorts of reasons not to eat: they just want good ale!

We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
