We sing everything from modern pop to Choral and barbershop. On our first birthday, we won The Acappella/barbershop class at The 2011 International Eisteddfod in Wales, and we have earned many awards and recognitions to date in varous competitions. Under The direction of The exceptionally talented Mr andrew Walker and his music team of award winning vocalists Affinity embraces educational aims, and encourages personal development in singing and performance. Affinity are always happy to hear from potential bookings, and welcome new members to audition for The Choir, we are a fun loving group of women who share The joys of singing, we employ strong values of team work, friendship and support. Two years after its founding, it was awarded 1st Prize at The 29th National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held at The Cultural Center of The Philippines. The group performed in various events such as Miss Earth Pageant in 2003 and 2004. The group was also one of The featured artists in The Samu’t-Saring Tinig V at The Cultural Center of The Philippines; in a Concert at The Clamshell in Intramuros in February 2003; and in The International Youth Music Festival sponsored by NAMCYA held at The CCP in December 2003. In 2004, The Choir released its debut CD featuring Ilocano favourites and winning competition pieces. In 2005, The Choir was handed over to its new conductor, Sherberk Cabrales. The Choir was founded in 1986 as part of The church music work at The LuTheran Lindenkirchengemeinde. The Berlin Girls‘ Choir has won many awards. It was most recently awarded The OPUS KLASSIK in 2021 for The music film „STIMMENÜBERLEBEN“ (Anne Frank: A Living Voice) and The „Kinderchorlandpreis“ of The Deutsche Chorjugend for very good children‘s Choir work. The Choir also won several first prizes at The German Choir Competition and at international competitions in Warsaw/Poland, Venice/Italy, Helsingborg/Sweden, Neerpelt/Belgium, The Harmony Festival in Limburg, The Johannes Brahms Festival in Wernigerode and The Vienna World Piece Choral Festival.
