We make numerous cathedral visits throughout the year, but also offer occasional sung services to smaller churches without a choir. We also offer fundraising concerts for charities, building appeals, etc. and are available to hire for weddings, funerals and other occasions.

The choir is based near Taunton and stages annual concerts at Wells Cathedral and King’s College Chapel, Taunton, with the finest nationally and internationally renowned soloists and orchestras, performing innovative and varied programmes of music ranging from medieval through to 21st century.

The choir is made up of 25 members from a variety of professional backgro...  moreThe Gesualdo Chamber Choir was founded in 2000 by conductor András Stimecz with the aim to popularize Hungarian culture worldwide and introduce foreign choral traditions to Hungary. The choir is made up of 25 members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including teachers, scientists, clerics, accountants, carpenters, and engineers. The choir's repertoire consists mainly of choral works from the renaissance and 20th century, as well as contemporary pieces in Hungarian, English, Latin, Italian, French, and German. The Gesualdo Choir has earned several national and international awards, winning top ratings in Hungary as well as 2nd and 3rd place prizes at the prestigious Tonen choir competition in the Netherlands. The Choir performs 15 times each year within Hungary, and continually seeks opportunities to spread the beauty of the Hungarian choral tradition abroad. EnChor began singing together in the fall of 2005. We are an auditioned group of approximately 32 Singers, coming from a broad cross section of the Calgary and area community. EnChor proudly highlights the work of Canadian artists, and includes Canadian content in every concert. An important part of our directive is to collaborate with fellow Calgary artists. We have shared our concerts with Paul Rumbolt and Friends, Players Ensemble, The Calgary Men’s Chorus, the Calgary Renaissance Singers, Foothills Brass, One Accord, Youth EnChor, Corps Bara Dance Theatre, Cum Vino Cantus, UofC Orchestra, Calgary jazz musician Gerry Hebert, and story-teller Jan McLean.  less
