The driving force for the formation of this group is Faith Ragland, a trained passionate classical violinist and cellist, who has a rich experience of playing for and conducting choirs. He is an advanced level violinist and a musician with the India Youth Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Vijay Upadhyaya. He has the rich experience of conducting choirs and has undergone a conducting workshop in Italy and had master classes under the world class conductor and the co-founder of Kings Singers, Simon Carrington. He has been invited to the Stamps Baxter School of Music, USA on a scholarship. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across the local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less
