Under the direction of John Alexander, the 140-voice Pacific Chorale and its 24-voice professional chamber choir, the John Alexander Singers, present an annual concert season at Segerstrom Center and other area venues, as well as appearing as frequent guest artists with local and visiting orchestras. John Alexander and Pacific Chorale have performed numerous local and world premieres, toured internationally to 27 countries in North and South america, Europe and Asia, and released eleven recordings.  less

Like most traditional male voice choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. the choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from West End showstoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral music. the Choir has gained a reputation for doing many concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. the Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred choirs in the Festival of Brass and voices for cancer research UK. the Choir has made several tours both at home and abroad and has raised thousands of pounds for charity totaling nearly £3000 in the past year alone  less

Côr Meibion Pontypridd (Pontypridd Male Choir; the name means Choir of the Sons of Pontypridd) was formed in 1949 for traditional Welsh singing. the choir performs frequently both in Pontypridd and overseas, and has visited Poland, Ireland, the USA and...  moreCôr Meibion Pontypridd (Pontypridd Male Choir; the name means Choir of the Sons of Pontypridd) was formed in 1949 for traditional Welsh singing. the choir performs frequently both in Pontypridd and overseas, and has visited Poland, Ireland, the USA and Germany. Links have been forged with Liederkranz Oberensingen, a German male choir from Pontypridd's twin town, Nürtingen. the choir also performs regularly at the National Eisteddfod of Wales and takes part in the HTV male choral competition. the choir is currently broadening and improving its repertoire to provide a wide-ranging concert program. the choir is a member of the National Association of Choirs, the Welsh Association of Male Choirs and the Welsh amateur Music Federation, and is a past winner of the HTV Male Choral Competition and at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.  less
