AMA was formed in 2010 by a group of friends singing together for pleasure. The name - an acronym for Angela, Marilyn, and andrew - was created for the group's first concert at the end of 2011.

As a Corporate Motivation product, Tolga Gülen has been working with companies on PoliPop since 2011. Deciding to offer PoliPop outside of corporate participation, it was implemented within the body of "Kadıköy Municipality Volunteer Counseling and Training Center". PoliRock, together with PoliPop, became Turkey's second modular Chorus project. There is no notation and exam system in PoliRock. Tolga Gülen has been using his own song learning technique that he developed during his work with corporate companies for years. PoliRock is open to the participation of anyone who wants to sing. Since then, we've been growing in quality, number of singers, range of repertory, and we've won two national awards in Spain in Choir contests. We like to touch the audience with our style. Quorum Singers of St Albans has been singing for over 25 years, and perform around 3 times a year in St Albans or locally in Hertfordshire. We rehearse once a week on Wednesdays, throughout the term time, and can often be found performing in Christopher Place around Christmas time!  less

We aim to establish a strong group of singers who rehearse and perform regularly, predominantly a cappella choral works but sometimes with instruments and including some solo/small ensemble repertoire. We will be commissioning new works as well as exploring established repertoire and pieces by CoMA composers and associates. The group will reinforce as well as supplement the established CoMA Voices programme. Singers are expected to be confident singers with some sight reading experience, be prepared to tackle unusual vocal techniques and unconventional pieces.
