Le Festival SAWT (3ème édition - Du 12 au 15 Avril 2017) Le Cantique de Jean Racine est une œuvre pour chœur mixte à 4 voix et orgue (il existe deux orchestrations datées de 1875 et de 1901). Cette œuvre est une vraie réussite pour un jeune compositeur âgé de seulement 19 ans. Under the direction of John Alexander, the 140-voice Pacific Chorale and its 24-voice professional chamber choir, the John Alexander Singers, present an annual concert season at Segerstrom Center and other area venues, as well as appearing as frequent guest artists with local and visiting orchestras. John Alexander and Pacific Chorale have performed numerous local and world premieres, toured internationally to 27 countries in North and South America, Europe and Asia, and released eleven recordings.  less

This creates a "virtual" performance, since the piece is strung together from multiple acoustical venues from multiple days. The performance tour also included other modern works, such as Eric Whitacres "Sleep" and "Lux Aurumque", Frank Ticheli's "There Will Be Rest", and Dan Forrest's "Selah".

Himes (California, b.1987) de quien ya realizamos el estreno europeo de la desgarradora "A Prayer" , obra que puedes escuchar también en nuestro canal. Nuevamente volvió a implicarse en el proyecto y estamos enormemente orgullosos por los frutos de ambas colaboraciones. La interpretación corresponde a la aportación de la Camerata Lacunensis de La Universidad de La Laguna que dirige Francisco José Herrero, en La Fiesta de La Música 2013 de La Laguna, Tenerife, Islas Canarias; el 22-06-2013. En la que intervenimos con un concierto de Música Sacra. Realizamos la presentación en la Iglesia de Santo Domingo (1527), uno de los Bienes de Interés Cultural más importantes de nuestra ciudad, La Laguna, que está declarada Patrimonio de La Humanidad por la UNESCO.  less
