Accord Acapella is an exciting vocal group of eight young singers hoping to take the world by storm with anything from Brahms to Coldplay passing through jazz classics!

Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! We'd very much be interested in meeting/collaborating with other Choirs in our area. We are on Facebook so have a little look and maybe come and sing a few baas with us!  less

The group was formed with some of Brisbane’s best and most experienced ensemble singers, most of whom sing regularly with other Choirs in and around the City and have extensive performing and touring experience both around Australia and internationally. The singers range across an assortment of careers, from educators to environmental engineers, and from students to musicians. They are drawn together because of their passion for singing and produce an energy in performance that immediately connects with their audience. In programming, Fusion specialises in early and new music – from Jean Mouton and Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla to Cyrillus Kreek, Arvo Pärt, and Henryk Mikolaj Górecki.
