With styles ranging from pop to gospel, we're sure there's something to suit yOur taste. Come and join us on Tuesday evenings at the University of Chichester, where we rehearse. We aim to give two/Three concerts a year – we hope you can be in the next one! We are a group of ladies with ages ranging from early 20s to 50s. We usually run around the school holidays as we have a few mums but can run in the holidays as well if enough people are available. We charge per half term which works out at £5.50 a week when you commit to the whole half term. Please contact us if you would like to come so we can let you know which room we will be in.  less

The Chamber Choir rehearses twice a week in a friendly yet serious environment. The Chamber Choir sings a varied repertoire of classical liturgical and secular music from the Renaissance to the present, as well as arrangements of spirituals and songs from around the world, Israeli and Jewish music, and more. The choir performs regularly in churches and concert spaces in Jerusalem and around Israel and has performed in festivals and programs in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United States, and Switzerland. The Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir is an unaffiliated choir whose membership spans the religious/secular and political divide in Israeli society. The choir accepts members without discrimination as to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, or political affiliation. It was and still is a ...  moreIt was founded in the Holy Week of 1996, as a consequence of the tradition of performing in the church of Brunete (Madrid, Spain) the Responsorios of the Renaissance composer Tomás Luis de Victoria (c. 1548-1611) during that season. It was and still is a chamber choir especially interested in the polyphony of the Renaissance, and particularly in the composer it takes its name from, although the choir does also interpret works from every period. Its members’ hard work and joint enthusiasm along all these years, under the direction of Antonio Peces, crystallise in the neat blend of the voices and the sensitivity that its interpretations instill. The group provides experience and a consolidated musicality, while exploring every facet of choral music, as well as the singularity of the great masters’ art.
