We share our love of singing by performing an entertaining selection of Music from a variety of genres. Since our inception, we strive to engage all our audience members, from the Musically sophisticated to first-timers. We enjoy bringing our performance art to the Calgary community. We perform at two major concerts per year as well as various community performances. As a distinctive and dynamic women’s vocal ensemble, we collaborate with local artists to perform unique arrangements of familiar and eclectic repertoire. Blend Vocal Association strives to unite in harmony and share our love of singing by performing a diverse and entertaining selection of Musical styles. We ensure our Musically sophisticated and first-time audience members leave our multiple-layered performances feeling entertained, upbeat and inspired.  less

Endora is the Hebrew word for fountain. A fountain wher in this case the Musical joy starts to spray it's joyful notes. the love for Music and the willingness to reach a good choir sound is the starting point of this ambitious group of amateur singers. the choir members originate from dIfferent kind of choral background (close harmony, church choir and oratorium choir). Endora consists of 8 sopranos, 8 altos, 5 tenors and 5 basses.

This vision has grown into Chai-T...  moreChai-Town was formed at the University of Illinois, when a group of young men came together with their love for Music. they wanted to show how two seemingly dIfferent cultures can fuse together to produce something great. This vision has grown into Chai-Town A Cappella. Last year we performed at the a cappella competition Anahat, in berkeley, CA, as a guest act at the dance competition Naach Nation, in New York, NY, and across the Midwest. As 2012 approaches, our group will be reaching its 10th anniversary and putting out our THIRD studio album! Chai-Town is a completely student-run, non-profit group of 16 members, each of whom has a passion for Music. We love sharing this passion with our friends and family, our community, and the world.  less
