This is a group of kids who study in the School and as an extracurricular program for the children. We receive children from the 3rd till 6th grades. The Choir is conducted by Fanny Kristianus Kalensang and till now is the one who is in charge of all OCC's activities.

Since June 2009, under the direction of their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, the Choir has garnered num...  more Greendale Chorale was formed in 2006 with the inception of the School. In these few years, the young all-girls Choir has grown from strength to strength. Since June 2009, under the direction of their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, the Choir has garnered numerous accolades and awards to their name. In 2010 the Choir won the Gold Award at the 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The Choir was also Category Winner and was one of four Choirs to be invited to compete in the grand finals. In 2011 the Choir attained their first Silver award at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs. In the same year they came in 2nd at the National A Capella Championships. The Choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as the Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and the Singapore Armed Forces Band. They have performed at major Concert venues including the Esplanade Concert Hall, School of the Arts Concert Hall and Victoria Concert Hall - both alone and also ...    less

Our aims are to achieve High standards of singing and performance, and to contribute to our local community. Our annual programme typically includes 6-8 Concerts in the Harpenden area and further afield, a cathedral tour, open singing days and the occasional recording. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at St George’s School, Harpenden. We are known for good music making, varied repertoire including regular commissions, excellent soloists, interesting Concert venues and loyal patronage of a range of local hostelries…. We come from a wide range of musical backgrounds and have a thriving interns scheme for talented singers from local Schools. Over our 50 year history, the Leas have sung under 11 permanent conductors and many guests, each of whom has made a distinctive contribution to our style and repertoire.
