Our programme varies from stunning ma...  moreHart Voices is a mixed voice Choir based in Fleet, Hampshire which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned Choir. We perform four concerts each year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from stunning major choral works to satisfying chamber music programmes and the occasional light programme of popular numbers! Singers are drawn not only from Fleet and the surrounding area, but also outlying towns including Guildford and Basingstoke. Choir membership is currently around 50 voices, many of whom have sung with the Choir for several years. The combined experience and enthusiasm enables us to explore new musical horizons - both in repertoire and venue. We aim to broaden our experience, strive for quality and musicality in our performances and involve young singers wherever possible. For a long time, the Choir existed as part of this group, performing with its dancers and Orchestra, singing mostly folk music; in 1999, Valerija Skapiene, the present artistic director of the Choir, began working in "Ugnele", and in a few years, the Choir's repertoire extended to include not only folk, but also classical, jazz, world music; in 2002, during "Mes - Lietuvos vaikai" national choral competition, the Choir was acknowledged to have reached the level of the first category (this is the highest category of artistic level in Lithuania). Journeys around the world followed - "Ugnele" has presented Lithuanian culture in fifteen countries from the Netherlands to South Korea; in 2004, the Choir started a national choral festival for children, "Dainu mozaika". In 2010, the Choir was invited to become a part of Vilnius J. Tallat-Kelpsa Conservatoire and continues to work...    less

M.I.C has its mid-year annual choral program dubbed Marvelous Praise which features lots of Choirs to perform with them on many kinds of music genre.
