Its first conductors were the Finnish-American Dr. of Musicology, Mrs. Ruth-Esther Hillila and Finnish Pastor Mr. Tarmo Nuotio. the three following conductors came from Vienna (Austria) Mr. Peter Lacovich, Zwickau Prof. Mr. Heinz Hofmann and Dresden (Germany) prof. Mr. Christian Hauschild, the original footholds of European protestant 'Knabenchor' -tradition. Cantores Minores is the largest and most professional boys choir and choir school in Finland offering boys and young men both musical and spiritual education around the Helsinki region. Cantores Minores is especially famous for its performances of large church music pieces by ​J.S. Bach, J. Brahms, G.F. Händel and F. Trata-se de uma peça com cinco andamentos, escrita para o coro infantil New Orleans Children, aquando da participação no Crescent City Festival de New Orleans, em 2009. Fazem ainda parte da peça alguns clássicos de Natal como "Zat You Santa Claus", popularizado por Louis Armstrong; "Little Drummer Boy" ou "Silent Night" com arranjos próprios do quinteto. Enquanto o Coro Pactis tem Fátima Gonçalves na direção musical, o Wave Jazz Ensemble integra os músicos Rui Melo, Paulo Cunha, Paulo Borges, Nuno Pinheiro e Antonella Barletta. Our repertoire ranges from the traditional to the contemporary, from sacred to 'songs from the shows', from Wagner to Rod Stewart. We maintain a good balance of concert and social activities. We practice every Tuesday night from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at Stithians Methodist Chapel.
