Its first conductors were the Finnish-American Dr. of Musicology, Mrs. Ruth-Esther Hillila and Finnish Pastor Mr. Tarmo Nuotio. The three following conductors came from Vienna (Austria) Mr. Peter Lacovich, Zwickau Prof. Mr. Heinz Hofmann and Dresden (Germany) prof. Mr. Christian Hauschild, the original footholds of European protestant 'Knabenchor' -tradition. Cantores Minores is the largest and most professional boys Choir and Choir School in Finland offering boys and young men both Musical and spiritual education around the Helsinki region. Cantores Minores is especially famous for its performances of large church Music pieces by ​J.S. Bach, J. Brahms, G.F. Händel and F. Mendelssohn and a strong inspiration and example for the Choir has during its 70 years of existence been the 1000 year-long protestant boys Choir tradition in Germany. New members are always welcome. No auditions required though our director may ask you to sing to verify your placement in the correct voice range. See the Bulletin Board for details. GGCC generally performs at least two concerts per year, a Winter/Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert.

Also Richard Wagner was a Honor member of the Choir. We are very proud of this facts. But current we are a chor, wich singing manly oratories. The last project was "Die Schöpfung" von Joseph Haydn. This days we rehearse Parts of famous masses from Beethoven, Bruckner und Mozart. These Compositions would be a part of a special concert - a workshop-concert. In german it is called a _Gesprächskonzert_. The wellknown austrian composer _Balduin Sulzer_ will cuduct this concert. It happens at 8 of December 2012 17:00 in the Minoriten-Church in Linz.  less

Their sound combines rock, acapella, electronic, ambient and chant influences. Paradisum was created by Richard Childress, a Chicago-born professional singer, arranger and manager who brought together five talented and versatile young singers to record a few demo tracks. This attracted some attention from a veteran A & R professional, resulting in Paradisum being invited to perform in a private showcase in London before execs from Universal and Sony/BMG Records. The band is now in a new exciting collaboration with the brilliant tv and film composer Philip Sheppard. New covers and original sings will be out on Soundcloud and iTunes early in 2012.  less
