El Códice del Obispo Baltasar Jaime Martínez Compañón "Trujillo del Perú" reúne en el tomo II diecinueve piezas recogidas en los territorios del obispado de Trujillo en 1789. Esta colección se publicó en 1946 con el título de "Folklore Musical del siglo XVIII" conteniendo la reproducción facsimilar de los manuscritos y la transcripción de las letras realizados por Rodolfo Holzmann, César Arróspide de la Flor y Rubén Vargas Ugarte. Es un códice de trascendencia para la música peruana porque documenta nuestras tempranas expresiones populares.  less

Many members of the Choir are choral scholars, some are at music college, and most hope to make a career in music. Since its foundation by Ralph Allwood in 1984, the Choir have toured extensively in Europe, and have also appeared throughout the United Kingdom at venues great and small, including St John's, Smith Square and some of the country's most glorious cathedrals.  less
