Flos Campi (meaning "flower of the field" in Latin—from the Song of Songs) is an early Music ensemble comprised of students from the University of Southern California. We specialize in repertoire from 1750 and before.

The Choir has taken part or organized more than 800 concerts, shows and Musical events in churches and places of culture in Rome, Italy and abroad. It took part in choral competitions, celebrations, weddings and commemorations. The Choir sings mostly a cappella and its repertoire ranges from sacred and spiritual Music to popular Music and from 16th century polyphony to choral works by contemporary authors, focusing especially on Italian composers.  less

Our diverse vocal programme is for 14-18 year olds who love to sing, are keen to develop their choral technique, improve their ensemble singing and explore a diverse range of vocal styles. It was recorded May of 2010 in the CentralWashington University Music Building Concert Hall. This Choir is partnered with a non-profit organization called the New York Community Alliance for Sickle Cell Anemia Inc. We plan to use our concert venues for aiding this organization's cause. Our conductor John Hunter II is a young but competent conductor. He received his Master's in Choral Conducting from Mansfield University.
