It was founded more than 30 years ago with David Wordsworth as its Musical Director from 1995 to 2023. Our current classical Musical Director is Matthew Thomas Morgan, and our current Jazz Musical Director is Jill Jarman.
The group comprises two classical choirs – an auditioned Chamber Choir and a much larger non-auditioned Oratorio Choir; and two Jazz choirs – an auditioned mixed Jazz Ensemble and a larger non-auditioned all-female Jazz Choir. It also offers two different singing classes to meet the needs of beginners, intermediate and the more experienced singer.
The Addison Singers normally operate on three 10-week terms (the same as the schools) with a concert or recital at the end of each term. Our multicultural members have musical skills ranging from professional to semi professional levels. We learn our parts with precision, thus allowing us to put aside our sheet music and really enjoy the magic of hearing all the harmonies merged for a fine tuned a cappella sound!

Il suo repertorio spazia tra brani di musica sacra, profana, operistica e di tradizione popolare;
Dall’agosto 2009 svolge concerti, anima messe e cerimonie; partecipa ad eventi di beneficenza, di promozione culturale e di gala privati e non; partecipa a rassegne e festival corali.
Organizza ogni anno ad Arsoli la “Rassegna musicale in onore di N.S.di Guadalupe”, la cui prima edizione coincide con il debutto della corale (Agosto 2009), sempre ad Arsoli, in occasione delle festività natalizie, organizza “A Christmas Carol, note di Natale” un concerto in collaborazione con il coro giovanile “Allegre Note” di Arsoli. We are young people who are in the mood for singing modern self-made Jazz- and pop-arrangements. Mimi Neumair and Lukas Maier are our conductors, both are students at the Conservatorium in Munich.
