We think everyone can sing and complete beginners, shower singers and pros are all welcome. With no auditions and no requirements to read music it’s all about the enjoyment of singing.
We sing for 3 terms a year and each term ends with a fantastic end of term charity gig, it’s great to be able to give back to the local community whilst enjoying ourselves so much!
We sing everything from Queen and Aretha Franklin to Hozier and Florence and the Machine, and have members ranging in age from 20-70, there is really something for everyone!
This is our choir's 10th year and we're always looking for new members, so if you fancy a sing please get in touch.
We offer 1 free taster to each new member so you can try the choir out before deciding to join.
Our next choir term - Tuesdays - 21st April - 14th July
Taster dates: 21st and 28th April

Here the strong mallow strikes her slimy root,
Here the dull night-shade hangs her deadly fruit;
On hills of dust the henbane's faded green,
and pencill'd flower of sickly scent is seen;
Here on its wiry stem, in rigid bloom,
Grows the salt lavender that lacks perfume.
At the wall's base the fiery nettle springs,
With fruit globose and fierce with poison'd stings;
In every chink delights the fern to grow,
With glossy leaf and tawny bloom below:
The few dull flowers that o'er the place are spread
Partake the nature of their fenny bed.
These, with our sea-weeds, rolling up and down,
form the contracted flora of our town. less

this video took a lot of hard work. I started this almost immediately after my first choral video went up. I love these choral multitracks but they are very tedious to edit and very long to record.
just so you know, because I know people are going to ask, the soprano solo at the beginning is in the box in the top-left corner
as always there is no autotune used.
so because of all my hard work I think it would be wonderful if you would all like, subscribe, comment and share it with your friend. it would mean a lot to me :)

SHINE: Coastal Sound Children's choir
In their own words, Children's choir singers explain what SHINE means to them in the context of singing in choir. Rollo Dilworth's "Shine On Me", as sung by the choir in rehearsal, provides the back track for the video.
