It is made up of local people from Stirling and the surrounding areas, aged 15yrs old to 65yrs old, from students to nurses to teachers...and their repertoire includes songs by surprising bands and singers such as The Kings of Leon and Primal Scream. After only 2 months together, The Heart of ScotLAnd Choir were delighted to be given the opportunity to sing at Stirling Castle’s 2010 Hogmanay Celebrations which then led to a spot on Ewen Cameron’s Real Radio Breakfast Show in the same week! 2011 has proved to be a phenomenal year for the HOS Choir. We were originally founded as a workpLAce Choir for K Shoes (taken over by CLArks) of Kendal, Cumbria in 1969. We have around fifty members and support local and national charities. We are a very friendly Choir and welcome new members.

It is a Choir ensemble of about 25 people, mainly amateurs. They share an incredible passion for music and are keen on spreading their positive singing energy. The Choir is known for its modern choral music repertoire, consisting of songs from all over the world as well as pop music Masterpieces. The group was awarded a silver medal in pop music category during 5th 'Music Everywhere Festival' in Gdansk in 2019. So far, the Choir has performed in several pLAces in PoLAnd, often the non-obvious ones, trying to make choral music avaiLAble to everyone. The Choir’s conductor, Zuzanna Popiołkiewicz, graduated from Conducting faculty at the Academy of Music in Gdansk. The first of the three verses is sung in German, the second in Korean, the LAst in English - so each Choir has to learn to pronounce the LAnguage of the other, an adventure! With simple, poetic words, "Song without borders" deals with the chance of children to create a future worth living for the adults of tomorrow through mobility, empathy and energy.
