By engaging in an intense study, could soon join the most important events of prestigious choralcompetitions earning statements in Arezzo and Ravenna in 1978 and 1979 and Gorizia in 1982. The polyphonic sacred and secular music certainly represents the most relevant part of the repertoire that the Polyphonic Group “Claudio Monteverdi” successfully brings to churches and theaters both in Italy and abroad. Among the repertoire, we can find 1500’s and Baroque musical compositions by Palestrina, Da Victoria, Gallus, Viadana, Hassler, Monteverdi. Among the Romantic authors, on the other hand, we can find Schubert, Schumann, Sibelius, and Rossini. Concerning modern Polyphonic music: Poulenc, Kodaly, Bardos, Pizzetti, and Orff. Le choeur Lyrique de l'Estaque est né en 1998 par la motivation de la cantatrice Gayané HOVANNYSIAN. Le 6 avril 2002, c'est sur la scène du Théâtre National de la Criée de Marseille, qu'ils ont donné la première représentation d'un Opéra crée sur le St...  moreLe choeur Lyrique de l'Estaque est né en 1998 par la motivation de la cantatrice Gayané HOVANNYSIAN. Le 6 avril 2002, c'est sur la scène du Théâtre National de la Criée de Marseille, qu'ils ont donné la première représentation d'un Opéra crée sur le Stabat Mater de J.B. Pergolèse. C'est ensuite en 2003 à l'Odéon de Marseille et en 2004 à Vitrolles, que cette représentation s' est poursuivie. Le choeur continue le 9 Mai 2004 avec l'interprétation du Stabat Mater à l'Abbaye St-Victor de Marseille, lieu culte de la musique sacrée. En 2008 c'est au Toursky avec l'opéra des opéras "Le Choeur des Anges" que le choeur se représente. Le consécration est enfin venue le 4 Avril 2013 avec le spectacle Operassimo représenté à l'opéra de Marseille à guichet fermé. Depuis septembre 2005 une nouvelle formation du choeur est née : ce sont les " les binjamins" . Over the years it has taken in thousands of singing students and graduates of University of Warsaw and other Warsaw's universities. In 2011 the choir celebrated its 90th anniversary. The current conductor is Irina Bogdanovich. Choir's forte always were a cappella performances - claim acknowledged with numerous awards, most recenly - third place at the international Busan Choral Festival and Competition in 2014 and Grand Prix at the most prestigious Polish choir tournament Legnica Cantat in 2011. Apart from a cappella works, choir perfoms both vocal and orchestral masterpieces such as Verdi's and Mozart's Requiem, Stabat Mater by Dvorak, Poulenc and Szymanowski, Beethoven's 9th Symphony or even J.
