They wanted to show how two seemingly different cultures can fuse together to produce something great. This vision has grown into Chai-Town A Cappella. Last year We performed at the a cappella competition Anahat, in Berkeley, CA, as a guest act at the dance competition Naach Nation, in New York, NY, and across the MidWest. As 2012 approaches, our group will be reaching its 10th anniversary and putting out our THIRD studio album! Chai-Town is a completely student-run, non-profit group of 16 members, each of whom has a passion for music. We sang in PORTUGAL, Burgos Cathedral, the Church of the Magdalene Torrelaguna, the Monastery of St.. Domingo de Silos, Mecerreyes Church and Collegiate Covarrubias (Burgos), the Iglesia de la Santa Cruz of Carballiño (Orense), the Iglesia de Sta. María of Requena (Valencia), Ntra. Sra. del Buen Suceso or Las Calatravas in Madrid and at Mass on Sundays TVE issues, from the parish of Los Arroyos (El Escorial). We organize the Choral Events of Colmenarejo. For over 12 years, Quinta.5 has been redefining the limits of the human voice, in a show that captivates the crowd over and over again. Their vocal blend, together with their original arrangements create a unique Israeli sound that can be distinguished in every performance, providing a rich musical experience for the Israeli audience. Since the group was formed in 2006 by its founder Doron Ben-Ami, Quinta.5 has achieved great recognition both in Israel and throughout the world, and today is at the forefront of the contemporary a cappella scene in Israel. In 2012 they performed in the Israeli Music Awards (Acum) for the first time, and since then their performance has become one of the recurring acts every year. The Mandaluyong Chamber Singers (formerly the San Felipe Chamber Singers) was formed on August of 2010. Roughly a year after conception the group has successfully represented the Philippines at the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition,...  onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreone;">The Mandaluyong Chamber Singers (formerly the San Felipe Chamber Singers) was formed on August of 2010. Roughly a year after conception the group has successfully represented the Philippines at the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition, Hoi An 2011. Under the Leadership of Founder and Choirmaster Ron Oñate, they brought home 2 silver diplomas for the Folk and Sacred Music Categories from the said competition, establishing their mark on the international choir scene. Chamz, as they are popularly known, has continually rendered their voices for various Television shows, Music Festivals, Product endorsements, corporate events, charity concerts and outreach activities. Acknowledged by the City Government of Mandaluyong, alongside the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir as one of the cities musical pride, the group had started to accumulate support from people that their heartwarming voices have touched.
