Musical Director Judith Pinguey prides herself on the varied music the choir sings and has a very progressive outlook on MVC Music and likes to challange the pre concieved image of a male voice choir. less

A perennial competitor on the inTernational stage, The Alliance Chorus has qualified for the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) InTernational Competition every year since its’ formation in 1999. Ever “In Tune With Excellence”, The Alliance compeTed this past Summer in Las Vegas finishing 15th in the world, and in previous years has finished as high as 4th place!
In addition to the competition circuit, The Alliance Chorus also has had many opportunities to give back and perform for the community. Beyond our own Spring and Holiday annual shows, we’ve had the privilege to perform for:

WYV's main activities focus on music and vocal education through four choir groups for different ages; Treble Makers, Rising Stars, Chamber Choir and Every Voice.
