The Choir’s extensive repertoire covers all periods of vocal music and the 20th. century, among them choral works composed by R.R. ... moreFor more than 100 years now the Male Choir HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen with its 90 singers presents high-quality Choir music. The Choir’s extensive repertoire covers all periods of vocal music and the 20th. century, among them choral works composed by R.R. Klein, A. Koerppen, F. Farcas and many others more. Some of the works have been specially composed for HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen. At the same time the Choir dedicates itself to oratorioes usually performed together with the feMale Choir “Dzintars” Riga / Latvia.
Numerous concert tours and participations in international festivals took the HARMONIE to Austria, the Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Macedonia, Russia, USA and Wales. In Wales the Choir won first prize in the Male Choir category at the International “Eisteddfod” Llangollen in 1995 and 2007(second prize in 2003). This chorus is well-known for everyone who ever sang in the MEPhI Male Choir, since from the beginning of the Choir (in 1956) it has always been among the first pieces for the Choir newcomers (along with Chorus of Men from "The Demon" and Gaudeamus).

This tradition caused another one: in the end of each Choir's anniversary concert, all the former choristers being present among the audience come to the stage and sing these famous choruses together with the main part of the Choir.
