After singing together in various Choirs, they came to realise that their voices blended effortlessly, creating an exclusive sound and experience. They have now, in an understated way, established themselves as a much sought after Ensemble with followers all over the world. They’ve travelled extensively, performing at weddings, corporate events and concerts in venues as far afield as Rome, Los Angeles and Saudi Arabia, but they’re more than happy to perform closer to home ! The trio creates the perfect atmosphere for your special occasion, be it a wedding, corporate drinks reception or dinner. Their wide ranging repertoire includes well known classical, folk, ballads and contemporary songs. The group is made up of twenty-somethings (mostly!) who are young professionals living in London. Founded by singers and beatboxers from the likes of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Last Choir Standing and Britain's Got Talent favourites Out of the Blue, the group’s repertoire spans from Billy Joel to the Black Eyed Peas, via pop, jazz, barbershop, rap and original composition as they offer a programme of sumptuous jazz arrangements, genre jumping covers and assorted originals. Following a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe, The Refrains enjoyed a sold-out London debut at The Forge, Camden. Recent gigs have included The London A Cappella Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Silver Bullet and private events. We're a group of about 20 men & women, and sing in 3 or 4 (or more) part harmony. Quorum love to raise money for local causes - covering all sorts of charities, in all sorts of venues. Quorum Singers of St Albans has been singing for over 25 years, and perform around 3 times a year in St Albans or locally in Hertfordshire. We rehearse once a week on Wednesdays, throughout the term time, and can often be found performing in Christopher Place around Christmas time!  less

They soon found a community of singers who are equally passionate about the energy and intimacy of chamber choral music performed at a high caliber.
