The Giovanni Consort is based in Perth, Western Australia, and is one of the city's most accomplished chamber Choirs. The Consort is comprised of a group of 12 core singers each of whom are experienced Musicians, with many having studied (or currently studying) Music at university and several others singing professionally around Perth. In addition to presenting stunning performances of sacred and secular choral Music from the Renaissance right through to the present day, the Consort also acts as a training ground for aspiring conductors, composers and profes... less

Following in the footsteps of such distinguished predecessors as the world famous Le Mystere de Voix Bulgares, who won a Grammy award in 1989 and brought Bulgarian folk to world-wide audiences, we are committed to preserving and celebrating this unique style of singing.
We are named after a mystery ourselves - Veda Slovena, The Vedas of the Slavs, was a compilation of folk songs from Thrace and Macedonia published in 19 c., which is still considered a mystification.
With an international cast of singers we are a living proof that true Musical beauty and wisdom know no borders - neither national nor spiritual.
