To date they have given over 1500 local youngsters vocal coaching and experience of professional-standard live performance. WYV is run by a team of experienced volunteers who give their time freely to be able to pass this experience on - the team consists of two primary School teachers, two doctors and a critical care nurse! Warwickshire Young Voices provide High quality musical activities for children from age 2 to age 16 through a range of classes, choirs and workshops. In all activities, Warwickshire Young Voices prides itself on professionalism - with performances reaching the Highest standards. Their Musical Director, and resident composer, often writes music specifically for the children. Warwickshire Young Voices are a busy group. The choristers looked at the formation of the choir as further development to their shared roots from singing with the Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir. They also looked to continue the tradition of successful male Chamber choirs founded by former members of Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir, which is unique in Germany. The ensemble has committed itself to presenting the audience with unfamiliar male choir works of the Highest level, but without neglecting the traditional canon of compositions, which makes for a exceptional combination. The repertoire includes a range of the following: Gregorian chants, works of old masters, romantic motets, contemporary compositions, arrangements of jazz and pop songs. Under the musical direction of Kevin Fox (UK) and the baton of house conductor Erez Tal, Vocalocity performs mostly original arrangements of a range of cutting-edge rock/pop/jazz music. The Singers, all of whom come from a background in modern a cappella, range in age but are mostly around their 20s-30s. After a fruitful year, including 3 full-house concerts and several festivals, working with leading acapella masters such as Line Groth and Eric Bosio, collaborating with leading arrangers, composers and artists and recording for the upcoming Swingle Singers CD, we are looking forward 2015 with a visit to Aarhus Vocal Festival and creating some new recording and video clips of our own. It's a lot of fun. Hebrew Groove is a young, contemporary, Hebrew vocal group based in Amsterdam.
