We perform a major concert every May in Wicklow with professional soloists and orchestra, as well as a Carol Concert at Christmas in support of local charities.

Since then the choir has been not only one of the best choirs in it`s home country Latvia but also recognized and awarded in many international choir contests. The choir has participated in countless international choir festivals and performed abroad, for example, in Portugal, Japan, Canada, United States of America and many more. Founder of the choir was Mefodijs Skuja but the greatest achievments DZINTARS succeeded with perennial conductor Ausma Derkēvica. We are a group of friends who got to know each other while singing in the same academic or chamber choirs. Eventually, our passion for the classical music led us to create our own vocal ensemble. In our repertoire there are also some pop music arrangements.
