The piece builds to climax at "For Thine is the Power and Glory forever!" and ends reflectively, savoring the "Amen". THE COMPOSER: Composer Vijay Singh is Professor in the music department at Central Washington University. This video is from a concert presented on the CWU Campus.in May, 2014 entitled: “The CWU choirs and Friends sing songs of Singh” in that concert, 28 of Singh’s pieces were performed by 6 choirs, including two invited guest high school choirs. Huddersfield Piazza on Saturday 12/5/12 @ 11am - A group of singers from the Gledholt Male Voice choir, Marsh Ladies choir and other choirs from as far a field as Cheshire and Harrogate plus a few willing Hollybank trust staff surprised the onlooking sho...  ink" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreHuddersfield Piazza on Saturday 12/5/12 @ 11am - A group of singers from the Gledholt Male Voice choir, Marsh Ladies choir and other choirs from as far a field as Cheshire and Harrogate plus a few willing Hollybank trust staff surprised the onlooking shoppers by performing an impromptu performance of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. The rousing performance was part of Gledholt MVC's Gala day which included performances from Elvis, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Pipe Band and also a Zumba class. There was also a concert in Huddersfield town hall in the evening.
