Roughly a year after conception the group has successfully represented the Philippines at the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition, Hoi An 2011. Under the Leadership of Founder and Choirmaster Ron Oñate, they brought home 2 silver diplomas for the Folk and Sacred Music Categories from the said competition, establishing their mark on the international choir scene. Chamz, as they are popularly known, has continually rendered their voices for various Television shows, Music Festivals, Product endorsements, corporate events, charity concerts and outreach activities. Acknowledged by the City Government of Mandaluyong, alongside the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir as one of the cities musical pride, the group had started to accumulate support from people that their heartwarming voices have touched. Founded in 2008, Northern Lights Chorale is an auditioned ensemble based in the northern suburban area of Minneapolis and St. Paul. We perform for many organizations in and around the Western Pennsylvania area. Anyone wishing to sing is welcome and invited to come to a rehearsal prior to committing to the group. No auditions are necessary. We also sing in a yearly competition called Saengerfest held in June each year. Members chorus' are: Altoona, Williamsport, Reading, Lebanon and Mon Yough. Each chorus hosts the competition on a rotating basis. Rehearsals are held each Sunday at Sampsons MIlls Presbyterian Church at 1665 Lincoln Way in White Oak, PA 15131 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Mon Yough Chorale was formerly known as the Mon Yough Community Singers. The Mon Yough Chorale has a long history in the Mon Valley. The organization started as The McKeesport Choraliers in 1962 merging with the White Oak Community Singers in 2001 becoming the Mon Yough Community Singers.
