O Saviour of the world, save us, who by thy cross and blood hast redeemed us, help us, we pray thee, O Lord our God. Sung at Canterbury Cathedral during our Royal School of Church Music Summer Course in 1986, under Martin How. I (David W Solomons) was one of the altos. We stand strong in our pursuit for artistic excellence, and strive to nurture our singers’ love of choral music by giving them an avenue to further pursue their interest in choral singing. Intends to continue developing their vocal talent, working a v...  moreThe New Wave Chorus was created in early 2015 by Armanda Patricio. Integrates more than twenty young people between fourteen and eighteen years of age who have, in Music, a common denominator. Intends to continue developing their vocal talent, working a varied repertoire in multiple languages, styles, and four mixed voices (SATB) a cappella or in collaboration with instrumental ensembles. Has the support of the Instituto Politecnico de Castelo Branco, through the provision of space for rehearsals, on Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas de Castelo Branco (ESART). Fifteen days after its formation, the band was invited to participate in the IX Spring Concert (Covilha), with the theme "East and West", taking place on March 15, 2015. He accepted with great pleasure and it turned out a great way for bringing a greater responsibility to the original project.  less
