In the past years, Chamber Choir Orfej has received a number of awards, which places them among the more prominent Slovenian Choirs. Orfej has proven its high level of vocal performance in April 2010 at the prestigious Slovene national Choir competition ‘Naša Pesem’ (i. e. ‘Our Song’). the Choir scored 93 points, received the gold award, and the second prize in the category ‘mixed Choirs’.

EnChor began singing together in the fall of 2005. We are an auditioned group of approximately 32 singers, coming from a broad cross section of the Calgary and area community. EnChor proudly highlights the work of Canadian artists, and includes Canadian content in every concert. An important part of our directive is to collaborate with fellow Calgary artists. We have shared our concerts with Paul Rumbolt and Friends, Players Ensemble, the Calgary Men’s Chorus, the Calgary Renaissance Singers, Foothills Brass, One Accord, Youth EnChor, Corps Bara Dance theatre, Cum Vino Cantus, UofC Orchestra, Calgary jazz Musician Gerry Hebert, and story-teller Jan McLean.  less

Since the beginning, Rev. Lee Chong Min – a reverend as well as a professor of the School of Church Music, Singapore Bible College – has been appointed to be the Choir master of the Chamber Choir. In 1997, the Choir name was changed to Jakarta Festival Chorus in order to reach out more participants from evangelical churches in Jakarta. Pacifica Singers provides an ideal performance venue for experienced and motivated choral singers whose goal is to make Music at a very high level. By providing direct exposure to the world of professional Music making, it is an experience of great value for singers intending to make a career in Music. Current members live throughout the lower mainland, with many serving as conductors, Music educators, and/or professional singers in their communities.  less
