En 2011 reanuda su actividad presentándose en el “I Encuentro de Música Sacra”, organizado por el Coro de ex alumnos de la UC. Además participa en la “V Temporada Oficial Coral del Centre Catalá”, en el lanzamiento de la fundación coral “Alejandro Pino”, en la “VII temporada Coral de Codelco” y en la “V Temporada Coral de la Universidad Santo Tomás.” En 2012, junto al Coro de Estudiantes, Fact. Ingeniería y Orquesta UC, interpretan el Oratorio “Cristo en el Monte de los Olivos” de Ludwig van Beethoven, bajo la dirección general del maestro Víctor Alarcón., se presentan en la VI Temporada Oficial Coral del Centre Catalá”. Concerts by the group feature a cappella music of Scandinavia and the Baltics, as well as North-American composers. Music by composers such as Mäntyjärvi, Daniel-Lesur, Rautavaara, Martin and Pärt are ideal showcases for the choir’s lush and full sound. Members of the group are dedicated to excellence in rehearsing and performing. With a repertoire consisting of 8 to 16-part music, the twenty Singers are mostly performing as soloists. Now in its fifth season, voces boreales has already performed in a number of prestigious concert series, such as the National Arts Centre eXpres- sion series, Musique Chez Nous at Bishop's University, Mondial Choral Laval and the Montreal International Bach-Academy. The ensemble voces boreales is produced by the Montreal Choral Institute and appears in its various educational events, such as the Montreal Choral Masterclass.  less

The choir performs regularly in leading choral festivals of Europe and sings under the baton of world-renowned conductors. The choir worked with Grammy© award winning composer Eric Whitacre, Nigel Short, former member of the famous British a capella band King’s Singers, Jo-Micheal Scheibe, the president of American Choral Directors Association and Volker Hempfling, among the most important living conductors of Germany. Rezonans performed with significant choirs of the world within 6 seasons by hosting them in Istanbul: Yale Schola Cantorum (conducted by Simon Carrington), Salt Lake Vocal Artists (conducted by Brady Allred) and Junges Vokalensemble Hannover (conducted by Klaus-Jürgen Etzold). We offer new Singers a warm welcome and...  moreLFC was established in 1950 in Walthamstow, North East London, and has been based in that area ever since. With a membership of around 80, we are an eclectic bunch of people who share a common love of choral music. We offer new Singers a warm welcome and the opportunity to take part in choral concerts in London four times a year, plus various other events and weekend trips away both abroad and in the UK. There is a thriving though optional social side to choir life including drinks after Monday night rehearsals and occasional choir social evenings and other events. The Choir's repertoire ranges widely from staple works such as Bach's St Matthew Passion and Mendelssohn's Elijah to more unusual and rarely heard works by composers such as Jonathan Dove and the Choir's music director Jonathan Rathbone. We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere and the quality of our singing. We are let by Will Welsford who gives his considerable experience to help us find our best voices. We sing everything from madrigals to musicals, folk to funk and have a great time doing it! Always open to new members, particularly sopranos at the moment!
